New site, zero authority, brutal niche. Instead of guessing the brief, I reverse-engineered the top 5 ranking pages.
Process:
— Pulled every H2/H3 from the top 5 into one doc
— Kept any subheading that showed up in 3+ of them (those are the non-negotiables)
— Added 2 sections NONE of them had (found via People Also Ask)
Writer got a brief that was basically a ranking map. 2,100 words, published, indexed.
Day 19: position 8. Day 40: position 3.
