Why do my emails get ignored even when they're good?
Send time is simply the hour and day your email lands. Like knocking on a door when nobody's home, timing changes who answers.
Why it matters: a fitness coach always sent at 9am on Monday, the busiest, most crowded inbox moment of the week.
What she changed:
— Step 1: looked at when her past openers were actually active (mostly evenings)
— Step 2: ✅ moved her send from Monday 9am to Tuesday 7pm
— Step 3: kept the same content and compared three weeks before and after
Result: open rate went from 21% to 29% with zero change to the writing. The email was fine all along; it was arriving at a bad moment.
Tiny homework: check what day and hour you usually send. Just write it down.
