Make them coexist:
— Set the ASC existing-customer budget cap so it doesn't just retarget people you already own
— Don't run manual broad AND ASC broad at once — pick the lane that's winning and feed it
— Use ASC for scale, keep ONE manual campaign for testing new angles you'll graduate into it
— Compare incremental, not last-click — ASC steals credit it didn't earn
Risk: ASC reports great by cannibalizing your other campaigns' conversions.
Check if your ASC and manual audiences overlap. Stop bidding against yourself first.
