Today: your push ad has a clock
Here's something beginners miss: the same push ad gets different tap rates depending on the hour it lands.
Why? Because people check phones in waves — morning commute, lunch, evening on the couch. A notification at 3am gets buried under the morning pile by the time they wake.
This means your CTR isn't one number. It's an average hiding good hours and dead hours.
What to do, gently:
1. Let a campaign run a couple of full days.
2. Look at performance by hour in your stats.
3. Notice if a few hours quietly do most of the work.
4. Later, you can lean budget toward those hours (this is called dayparting).
Don't act on hour-data after one day — you need enough clicks per hour to trust it.
Try this: just open the "by hour" view of any campaign and look. No changes yet, only looking.
Notice first, optimize later.
