Trending audio is overrated for niche accounts
I kept slapping trending sounds on niche content and reach was mid. Tried original audio + my own voice instead. Reach climbed and the followers were way more relevant.
Trending audio puts you in a feed full of unrelated content fighting for the same eyeballs. Original audio keeps you in YOUR topic's lane.
Test this week: post 3 Reels on original/voiceover audio, 3 on trending, compare follower quality not just views. For specific niches, original usually wins on the stuff that pays.
