I have pages with zero clicks for a year. Cut them?
Q: A dozen posts have had zero clicks for 12 months. Time to delete?
A: Short answer: not automatically — zero clicks doesn't always mean zero value. Longer answer: first check impressions. Zero clicks but decent impressions means you rank too low, not that the page is worthless — that's a fix-the-title or improve-the-content job, not a delete. Zero clicks AND zero impressions for a year is the real "dead" signal. Even then, before deleting, ask: does it support a cluster, hold backlinks, or serve readers who arrive from elsewhere? If yes to any, redirect or improve instead. Mass-deleting can backfire by severing internal links. Cut surgically, and always 301 a removed URL to the closest living page.
