Q: What should a new affiliate's first 7 days with my program look like?
Drive them to a first conversion fast, because activation in week one predicts whether they ever scale. An approved affiliate who hasn't sent a click in 30 days is mostly dead.
A week-one sequence that converts sign-ups into earners:
— Day 0: approval plus a single 'start here' page with your best-converting offer and a ready link.
— Day 1: your top 3 creatives and the one landing page that wins, not a 40-asset dump.
— Day 3: a check-in offering a custom coupon or a small starter bonus on the first sale.
— Day 7: real numbers — their clicks so far and what's converting for similar partners.
Caveat: don't automate this into spam. The check-in should come from a named manager who can answer a reply. The goal of onboarding isn't to inform, it's to get one sale on the board. Momentum is the whole game.
