<b>Letting designers ship directly to production was no-code's worst gift.</b>
Visual builders erased the deploy step, which sounds like progress until a one-pixel "quick fix" on Friday breaks the live nav for every visitor with no staging, no diff, and no rollback. Code had guardrails for a reason: branches, review, environments. No-code sold "anyone can publish" and conveniently dropped the part where publishing safely is a discipline, not a button. Speed without a safety net isn't agility, it's gambling with your live site.
Staging isn't bureaucracy. Fight me in the comments.
