Myth: a single clean monetization is a plus. Correction: single-source revenue is concentration risk — one policy change can zero the asset. Diversification is a value factor, score it:
1. Map revenue by source and percentage — anything over 50% from one program is a flag, not a feature.
2. Check that source's transfer policy and account stability for new owners.
3. Model the worst case: revenue if that one program cut rates 30% or banned the account tomorrow.
4. Confirm whether the traffic could be re-monetized another way if the source dies — or if it's locked to one model.
5. Discount the price for concentration; a diversified site of equal profit is worth more.
Simple to operate is not the same as safe to own. Price the fragility of a single payday.
Save this — run it every deal.
