Myth: set your scheduler to max frequency, volume wins on Threads
The high-volume advice says queue 8-10 posts a day and let frequency carry you. On Threads, stacking posts close together visibly cannibalizes your own reach as the algorithm spreads attention thin.
Tested 8/day vs 3/day from the same queue tool for 12 days.
— 8/day: total reach barely rose, per-post reach dropped sharply
— 3/day spaced 4+ hours: higher per-post reach, similar daily total with less effort
The correction: use your scheduler's spacing controls, not its maximum throughput. The win is in gaps, not count.
Annoying limitation: most queue tools optimize 'slots filled,' not minimum spacing, so you have to enforce gaps manually.
Verdict: max-frequency queueing is Skip; spacing-aware scheduling is Worth it.
