If you want ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google-style answers to mention your site, publish something they cannot easily paraphrase:
• a small original dataset
• a benchmark or comparison table
• a survey with clear sample notes
• a before/after test with method and limits
AI systems and human writers both prefer sources that add a fact, not just an opinion. A page that says “best practices” is easy to ignore. A page that shows exact numbers, screenshots, process, and caveats gives them something to quote.
Make the research easy to reuse:
• use a clear title with the subject and method
• put the key finding in the first screen
• label dates, sample size, and scope
• add a short “how we measured it” section
• include a clean summary table or bullets
Do not bury the data inside a long essay. The citation magnet is usually the page that lets a model or writer extract one clean line with minimal guesswork.
If you can publish one original chart, one comparison, or one repeatable test per month, your odds of being cited go up much faster than by publishing ten thin opinion posts.
