When conversions drop on a working offer, the first assumption is "the offer is saturated." Usually the actual cause is one of three things:
1. The traffic source changed its algorithm or audience composition — your audience shifted, not the offer
2. A competitor entered with higher bids, pushing you into lower-quality inventory tiers
3. The advertiser quietly changed approval criteria or added new rejection reasons
Before you kill an offer, do the diagnostic:
- Check if your impression volume changed
- Ask your AM if approval rates network-wide are down
- Test a different traffic source with the same offer
Saturation happens, but it's less common than people assume. Most "dead" offers are salvageable with a source switch or creative refresh.
Diagnose before you pivot.

Offer saturation is real, but most affiliates misdiagnose it.
