I bought the hype: feed the tool, get viral hooks. It spat out "Stop scrolling! This will change everything about how you do email marketing." I posted five like it. Average 3s retention across them: 69%. They all sounded like the same robot, and the audience felt it.
The fix wasn't ditching AI, it was feeding it ONE real detail from my week. I gave it: "a client yelled at me over a 2-line email." It returned "A client called me furious over a two-line email. He was right."

The lesson: AI can't invent your specifics, only arrange them. The hook lives in the one true detail only you have, the robot just polishes it.
