A: Short answer: no — past a point, more links dilute rather than help. Longer answer: internal linking is powerful because it passes relevance and importance between pages and guides readers. But when every post has 40 links, you spread that signal so thin that none of them stand out, and readers can't tell what actually matters. A handful of deliberate, contextually relevant links beats a wall of them. Link to the pages you most want to rank, from genuinely related passages, with descriptive anchor text. Think of internal links as votes — when you vote for everything, you vote for nothing. Quality and intent over raw count, every time.
