Unpopular opinion: an unsourced stat in your post is a citation you handed to someone else.
When a model quotes a number, it credits the original source — not the blog that restated it. The fix:
— Run your OWN small study, survey, or data pull, however scrappy
— State the methodology in one sentence so it's quotable
— Name and date it: "In our 2024 analysis of 500 X..."
— Make YOU the primary source, not the aggregator
Borrowed stats build the other guy's authority. Original data is the only moat AI search respects. Tell me I'm wrong.
