For roofers, plumbers, and HVAC companies, schema is not a ranking trick. It is a way to make your site easier to read for search engines and less ambiguous for local queries. The three pieces that matter most are:
— LocalBusiness for the company profile
— Service for each core offering
— Review only when the review is displayed on the page
Keep the business name, address, phone, service area, and URL identical to the Google Business Profile and contact page. If you serve multiple trades, do not mash them into one generic page: give each service its own page and mark it up separately. This helps search engines connect the page topic, the location, and the service intent.
For Service, match the on-page copy: title, H1, and body should describe the same work. For Review, use real reviews that are visible on that page and avoid marking up testimonials pulled from elsewhere. Never add markup for awards, ratings, or claims that users cannot verify on the page.
Test the code for syntax and required fields, then check that the page still reads naturally without the markup. Schema should support the page, not rescue thin content.
