We're told leaks are almost always traceable. When an exclusive shows up on a rival site within hours, the investigation runbook:
— Check if you ever put the raw code in JSON-LD or the page's HTML source — scrapers read those first
— Search the code string in Google with site: operators across the usual aggregators to timestamp first appearance
— If it leaked before you published, the leak is upstream — the merchant or network seeded it elsewhere
— Unique-tag each future exclusive (trailing char or casing variant per partner) so the next leak fingerprints itself
