pSEO jargon only works when each term points to a real page decision
pSEO: programmatic SEO, where pages are generated from structured data and a template. Template: the layout and copy blocks reused across many URLs. Data attribute: a field in your dataset that fills one page slot, like city, category, or feature.
Index bloat: too many URLs indexed that add little value. Thin content: pages with little original information, often because the template changes but the substance does not. Doorway page: a page made mostly to rank for a keyword and push users elsewhere, not to solve the query.
Use the glossary as a build test: if a page can’t show unique data, a useful angle, and a reason to exist in search, it should not ship. If a template creates 1,000 URLs but only repeats the same paragraph with swapped labels, you are building thin content, not scale.
The clean rule: let data attributes create variation, let the template create consistency, and let editorial review block pages that only look different. That keeps index bloat down and makes the site easier to trust.
