How to run your first clean A/B test
New to testing? A/B testing means comparing two ads to see which wins. Beginners change too much at once. Do it cleanly:
— Change ONE thing only (the image, OR the headline, never both)
— Run both ads in the same campaign, same audience, same budget
— Give it enough clicks: wait for at least 100 clicks per ad
— Don't peek and pause early (a day or two isn't enough)
— After a week, keep the winner and test a new single change
Think of it like a taste test: change two ingredients and you'll never know which one people liked.
Why it matters: testing one variable at a time is the only way to actually learn what works.
Next step: duplicate your best ad and swap only the headline.
