Playbook: Get the most out of GSC Request Indexing's hidden rate limit
The button quietly caps at ~10-12 manual requests/day. Here's how to spend them.

Setup:
— Inspect URL > Test Live URL FIRST (confirms it's crawlable and indexable right now)
— Only click Request Indexing if the live test passes green
— Prioritize: new money pages, freshly-fixed noindex victims, updated cornerstone content
— Don't waste requests on pages already Discovered they're queued anyway
— Track which URLs you submitted and the date in a sheet

What it does well: pushes a single URL near the front of the crawl queue, usually crawled within hours, free.

Where it falls short: the daily cap is silent and shared per-property, and it does NOT override quality issues a thin page still won't index.

Cons:
— ~10-12/day hidden cap
— Won't fix quality problems

Best for: a handful of high-value URLs. NOT for bulk submission use sitemaps or IndexNow instead.
