Links don't trigger collapse. Spam patterns do.
One contextual link inside a genuinely useful 500-word answer is invisible to the moderation model. Five answers in a row dropping the same URL with two sentences of fluff? That's what flags you.
The link isn't the crime. The thin answer wrapped around it is.
