<b>The limit that suspends your "unlimited" site: inodes</b>
They told you: <i>"Unlimited storage — store whatever you want."</i>
Then meet the inode cap. Every file and folder counts as one inode, and budget plans often limit you to ~200,000–250,000 — buried in the fine print, not the feature grid. A busy site with caches, emails, and backups hits it fast, and the penalty is brutal: backups silently stop, then the account gets flagged.
Follow the money: "unlimited storage" sells; "250k file limit" doesn't. So one goes on the banner and the other goes where reviewers never look.
Reality: Unlimited gigabytes with a file-count cap is a leash measured in pieces.
