Controversial but: nofollow sculpting died in 2009, link-architecture sculpting never did. You sculpt by where you point links, not by neutering them.
The playbook:
— Rank pages by business value, top to bottom.
— Pull internal-link counts per page from a crawl.
— Find the mismatch: high-value pages with few inbound internal links, low-value pages drowning in them.
— Redirect equity by adding body links from high-authority pages to under-linked money pages, and trimming links to login/cart/tag pages.
You have a finite pool of internal authority. Spraying it at your privacy policy is a choice.
