Sculpting with nofollow is dead. noindex-follow is your real tool.
Controversial but: people still 'sculpt' PageRank by nofollowing internal links. That hasn't worked since 2009 — the equity evaporates, it doesn't redistribute. The actual tool for thin pages you can't delete is noindex,follow: it keeps the page out of the index while letting flow pass through to the links it contains.
Want to genuinely concentrate equity? Remove the link or remove the page. Reducing link count beats neutering links.
