Advantage+ Shopping (Meta's near-automated campaign type) and your manual prospecting often target the same people — they collide in the auction and inflate each other's costs.
Stop the overlap:
— Run Advantage+ as your scale engine, manual as your TESTING lab
— Use the existing-customer cap in Advantage+ so it leans toward fresh buyers
— Don't duplicate the same winning creative across both at once
Let them play different roles. Two campaigns fighting over one audience is just paying Meta twice.
Audit your audience overlap (Audiences > select > Overlap) before you blame the algo. Try splitting roles for one week.
