Giving away rights for free is the most common money leak in UGC. Run every deal through these three questions before you quote.
<b>Q1 — Where?</b> Organic only is base price. Paid ads = +40%. Whitelisting on their handle = +25% on top.
<b>Q2 — How long?</b> 30 days included. 90 days +25%. Perpetual +100%, minimum.
<b>Q3 — How wide?</b> One platform base. Cross-platform or unlimited spend = separate retainer.
Write the answers into the contract as a named clause, with an end date. No end date means you renegotiate when it expires — that's recurring revenue. Standardize this gate so rights are never an afterthought. Save the three questions. Rinse and repeat every quote.
