Scaling content QA fails when every page is reviewed the same way

At scale, the goal is not perfect manual review. It is a system that catches the expensive mistakes: broken templates, wrong data joins, duplicate headings, thin text blocks, and pages that look “published” but do not add value.

Use spot-check sampling for human review. Pull pages by template, data source, language, and traffic tier. Check a small set from each bucket, not random URLs only. If one pattern breaks, review the whole bucket before more pages go live.

Automated audits should run on every batch. Flag missing titles, repeated H1s, empty sections, word-count outliers, indexability issues, and near-duplicate bodies. Add rules for fields that must match the dataset, like location names, product types, or category labels.

Keep a simple error log: issue, template, sample size, root cause, fix owner. If the same defect appears twice, it is no longer a content problem; it is a pipeline problem. Fix the generator, validation step, or CMS rule. 🔍
