Will adding an author bio box fix my E-E-A-T problem?
Q: My site got hit and people say it's E-E-A-T. Do I just add author bios to fix it?
A: Short answer: a bio box alone fixes almost nothing. Longer answer: E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trust) isn't a widget you bolt on — it's whether the content actually shows firsthand knowledge. A bio saying "Jane is a finance expert" does nothing if the article reads like it was paraphrased from three other blogs. What moves the needle: original screenshots, real test results, specific numbers you couldn't get without doing the thing, and the author having a verifiable footprint elsewhere. The bio box is the cherry, not the cake. Build the experience into the body first, then the byline means something.
