Spotted: schedulers quietly becoming first-party data plays
With platform targeting getting noisier, word is the tools are racing to own the audience relationship — email capture, link-tracking, lightweight CRM bolted onto publishing. The pitch is "don't rent your audience from the algorithm," and it's how a posting tool justifies a higher tier in a cookieless world.
Why it matters: when your scheduler starts pushing email capture and UTM tracking, it's repositioning from "posts content" to "owns the funnel." That's a stickier, pricier product — and a sign the category's center of gravity moved off the calendar entirely.
