Heard this week: word is at least two managed-WordPress platforms are reclassifying one-click staging from 'included' to 'premium plan only,' framed internally as 'resource governance.' A source says the real driver is staging environments eating storage that nobody charges for.
What it means for you: agencies on mid-tier plans may wake up to find staging behind an upsell, or capped to one environment per site. The feature won't vanish, it'll just get a price tag and a quota.
