SOP: Run a Monthly Fallback Drill

Fallbacks rot silently. Prove they still work on a schedule.

— Step 1: Pick one live smartlink. Note its current Tier A offer and expected B/C.
— Step 2: Manually cap or disable Tier A in a test mode (or a clone of the config).
— Step 3: Send 10 test clicks; confirm all land on Tier B.
— Step 4: Disable Tier B too; confirm clicks reach Tier C, the catch-all.
— Step 5: Verify postbacks still fire from the fallback tiers, not just the primary.
— Step 6: Restore Tier A and confirm traffic returns. Log the drill result.

A fallback you never tested is a guess. A drill turns it into a known-good safety net.

Repeat monthly, rotating which smartlink you drill so all get covered over the quarter.
