Breadcrumbs replace that ugly link in your listing

Today's lesson: breadcrumbs are the little trail in a search result, like Home > Shoes > Running. They can replace the long messy web address Google would otherwise show, making your listing look tidy and trustworthy.

Think of signs in a mall: "You are here > Level 2 > Sportswear." Much friendlier than a random door number.

They come from your site's structure, plus a small bit of code:
1. Organize pages into clear sections (a shoes section, a running sub-section)
2. Show that trail on the page itself, near the top
3. Add breadcrumb structured data so Google shows the trail instead of the raw link
