Add a second lock to your login (2FA)

A password alone is one lock. Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, adds a second lock: a short code from your phone that changes every minute.

Why it matters: even if someone steals or guesses your password, they still can't get in without your phone. It's the single biggest security upgrade for the least effort.

How to set it up:
— Install a free plugin like "WP 2FA" or "Two-Factor."
— Install a free app on your phone, like Google Authenticator or Authy.
— Scan the code the plugin shows, and from now on you'll type your password plus the 6-digit code.
— Save the backup codes it gives you somewhere safe, in case you lose your phone.
