Scheduling posts to publish while you sleep
You don't have to be at your desk the moment a post goes live. WordPress can publish for you.
1. First confirm your timezone in Settings, General, otherwise posts publish at the wrong hour.
2. Write your post as usual.
3. In the editor's right-hand panel, find "Publish" and click the date next to it (it says "immediately").
4. Pick a future date and time.
5. The blue button now reads Schedule. Click it.
6. Check Posts, Scheduled to confirm it's waiting in line.
A quick tip: one scheduled cron event runs this, so your site needs a visitor (or a real cron job) around that time to fire it. Most sites are fine.
In plain words: set the date, hit Schedule, and your post quietly goes live on time without you.
