Do it like this. Export every indexed URL from Search Console coverage, not just your sitemap. Pull your top backlink target pages from any backlink tool, those redirects matter most. Map old-to-new in a spreadsheet, one row per URL, no wildcards until you've done the important ones by hand. Enter 301s, never 302s, in the platform's redirect settings. Test a sample by hand and watch for redirect chains, A-to-B-to-C kills equity. Re-crawl and find 404s the spreadsheet missed. The map is boring and it's the entire job.
