Q: I'm migrating off Universal Analytics — how do I rebuild my old goals as GA4 key events?

A: GA4 has no goals; you recreate them as events marked 'key':
— List your old UA goals (destination, duration, pages/session, event).
— Destination goals → create an event in Admin → Events → 'Create event' matching page_location contains /thank-you.
— Old event-goals → find the equivalent GA4 event (or build one), then Admin → Events → toggle 'Mark as key event'.
— Engagement-based goals (time/pages) → no direct match; use the built-in user_engagement or a custom threshold event.
TL;DR: Translate each UA goal into a GA4 event, build it under Admin → Events, then mark it as a key event. Goals don't migrate automatically.
