Everyone says: "Respond to every reply fast to keep momentum." Myth. Speed on the wrong reply burns the goodwill the first message earned. Triage first:

— "Not now" → log a date, don't argue, don't sell.
— "Wrong person" → ask who, never re-pitch the same wrong person.
— A real question → answer it in one message, no link dump, no call-push.
— Silence after interest → one nudge, then archive.

The goal isn't fast, it's correct. A measured reply to a soft yes converts; a rushed one re-opens the door you just got through.
