"Keep it short" becomes "keep it empty"
Everyone says "the shorter the message, the higher the reply rate." Myth in the form people apply it. Stripped too far, you get "Hi, collab?" — which is short and also says nothing worth answering. It's not length that kills replies, it's missing information: who, what, how much, why them. A creator can't say yes to a blank. Short works only when every retained word is load-bearing — the offer, the fit, the ask. Cut filler, not substance. Brevity isn't the goal. Decidability is.
