Google Search Console is now a lagging indicator. Your referral logs are the real AI dashboard.

GSC shows you clicks Google deigned to send. It tells you nothing about the answer that ate the click. Meanwhile your server logs already show ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude referrers crawling and sending humans — if you bother to filter for them.

The traffic you can't see in GSC is exactly the traffic you should be measuring.
