Refresh content one post at a time or batch the whole site?
Q: My library is stale. Update post by post or do a big bulk pass?
A: Short answer: prioritized batches, never the whole site at once.
Longer answer: a site-wide refresh in one week gives you zero ability to read cause and effect — if rankings move, you can't tell which change did it, and you've burned your energy evenly across pages that mattered and pages that didn't. Instead, sort by 'positions 5-15 with decent impressions' — those are nearly-ranking pages where a real update pays off fastest — refresh that batch, watch it for a few weeks, then move to the next tier. Slow, instrumented, and steerable.
Bulk refreshes feel productive and teach you nothing. Batched ones compound.
Anyone want me to go deeper on this? React 👍
