Today's term: whitelisting (a.k.a. paid amplification)
Whitelisting is when you give a brand permission to run ads from your handle, not theirs. Viewers see your name and face; the brand controls the budget and targeting behind it.
On Instagram this is a "partnership ad" code; on TikTok it's Spark Ads.
Why it matters: your account becomes their ad account. That's powerful — and worth real money, because you're lending your trust and your audience's eyes.
Example: $600 for the post, plus $400/month while they run it whitelisted. Three months = $1,800 total, not $600.
Your move: never bundle whitelisting into the base fee. Charge a monthly access rate on top, and set an end date.
