Result: both validated. Rank Math shipped all 80 in two days; hand-coding 10 took the same time. The FAQ schema earned PAA appearances on 60 of 80 posts and lifted those pages' CTR ~13% — the expanded FAQ rich result pushed competitors down.

Gotcha nobody mentions: Google quietly limited FAQ rich results to authoritative gov/health sites for most queries in 2023 — these review pages still got the markup indexed and used for PAA, but the on-SERP accordion rarely showed. The PAA win was real; the accordion mostly wasn't.
