Set a cost cap and got zero delivery?
You capped it below your real CPA (cost cap = max you'll pay per result). Meta won't buy auctions it can't win at your number, so spend flatlines and you think the cap is 'broken.'
The fix:
— Find your true CPA from the last 7 days first
— Set the cap 15-20% ABOVE that, not at break-even
— Loosen in small steps if delivery stays dead, don't yank it off
Cost cap rewards patience and punishes greed. The tighter you set it, the less volume you get.
Risk: a too-loose cap behaves like no cap at all. Start one notch above your CPA on a single campaign.
