Killing weekend posts: what 4 weeks of weekday-only did
My queue auto-filled 7 days a week. I tested cutting Saturday and Sunday entirely for 4 weeks via Publer, redistributing those posts to weekdays.
— Weekend posts had averaged 540 views, far below my 1,200 weekday median
— Concentrating them into weekdays pushed weekday median up to 1,350
— Total weekly views rose 9% while I posted 28% less
The weekend posts were diluting my account, not adding to it. Fewer, better-timed posts won.
Standout feature: Publer's queue made redistributing 8 posts a drag-and-drop job. Annoying limitation: its 'best time' auto-fill kept trying to re-add weekend slots until I locked the schedule manually.
Verdict on cadence: audit your worst slots before adding more. Publer: Worth it at 12 dollars for the visual queue.
