Tried this on a skin/anti-aging offer that leaned hard on text testimonials. Worked okay, plateaued.
Swapped the testimonial block for a simple "week 1 / week 4 / week 8" timeline — what to realistically expect, framed as a typical journey, no hard claims, just a visual progression with short captions.
Native US, 12-day split:
— CVR 1.4% to 2.1%
— EPC $0.45 to $0.69
— Add-to-cart rate +22%
Testimonials say "it worked for her." A timeline says "here's what your next 8 weeks look like." Reader pictures themselves in it. Self-projection beats social proof here.
Give them a roadmap, not a wall of quotes. Go test it.
