Beating SKAN's crowd-anonymity crush: campaign restructure recovered creative data
An iOS buyer kept hitting redacted postbacks (crowd-anonymity threshold) and was creative-blind. Apple only sends fine-grained data when an install cohort clears a privacy floor.
The fix via Singular: they collapsed 40 thin ad sets into 8 fat campaign IDs, concentrating volume so each cleared the threshold.
Over 6 weeks:
— share of fully-decoded postbacks rose from 41% to 78%
— creative-level ROAS became usable for the first time
✓ More volume per ID = more decoded data, a structural fix
✓ No new tooling, just account restructure
✗ Fewer IDs means coarser targeting granularity
✗ Small-budget tests now starve below the threshold entirely
Verdict: consolidate iOS campaigns to feed SKAN enough volume to decode.
Best for: iOS buyers stuck with redacted postbacks.
