I hit my daily cap by noon — is that a problem?
Q: A reader's offer had a 50-conversion daily cap and they maxed it every morning. Good sign or wasted traffic?
A: Wasted traffic. After the cap, the offer was paused and their afternoon clicks earned $0. We measured it: roughly 40% of daily volume hit a dead link.
They did two things. First, asked the manager for a cap raise — showed three days of consistent quality, got bumped from 50 to 120. Second, set up a backup offer to catch overflow once the cap was reached.
Outcome over the next month: daily revenue went from about $1,600 to $3,750. Same traffic, just not throwing half of it away.
Short version: a cap you hit early means you're leaving money on the table. Ask for a raise and route overflow to a backup.
