Q: Someone had push traffic from 40+ countries and couldn't pick one offer. Smartlink, or hand-pick?

A: We ran both side by side for two weeks on the same source. A smartlink (one link that auto-routes each click to the best-paying offer for that country/device) handled the long tail. A single hand-picked offer covered their top country, Brazil.

Results across 90k clicks:
— Smartlink on everything: $0.011 earnings-per-click
— Hybrid (single offer for Brazil, smartlink for the rest): $0.017

The hybrid won by 55%. Brazil was 60% of volume and deserved a tuned offer; the scattered 40-country tail wasn't worth manual work, so the smartlink earned more there than any single guess.

Short version: smartlink the long tail, hand-pick your top one or two geos.
