Cold outreach to this one DR68 site got ghosted twice. So I booked their host on MY tiny podcast (340 listeners, whatever) instead.
40 minutes of chat. End of call I said: "Would a written version of this make sense for your blog?"
He said send it. I turned the transcript into a 1,400-word guest post. Published in 6 days, do-follow, my exact anchor.
The trick: give before you ask. A podcast invite flips you from 'random pitcher' to 'peer' instantly.
One yes beat 50 cold emails. Go do it.
