Everyone says: "Post every day. Frequency feeds the algorithm."

A marketer documented 90 consecutive days. I have the export.

Days 1-30: average 1,900 impressions, quality climbing.
Days 31-60: 1,400 average, and the comments thinned — he was shipping filler to hit the streak.
Days 61-90: 1,050 average. Three posts under 300 views. He admitted half were written in 8 minutes.

The claim: cadence beats quality.

What's true: he then dropped to three posts a week, each taking 90 minutes. Average climbed back to 2,400 and his reply rate from prospects doubled.

The algorithm didn't reward showing up. It rewarded the posts worth showing up for, and frequency quietly diluted those.

A streak is a vanity metric you keep for yourself.
